The Growth Guarantee Scheme (GGS) is designed to support access to finance for UK businesses looking to invest and grow. It is managed by the British Business Bank and is available only through accredited lenders.
GGS replaced the Recovery Loan Scheme on 1 July 2024. Facilities are generally up to £2 million per business group, with a 70% guarantee to the lender, for businesses with turnover up to £45 million. Read our full guide to the Growth Guarantee Scheme, including eligibility and terms.
Note: not every accredited lender can provide every type of finance listed below, and some only operate in certain geographic areas of the UK.

Apply For The Growth Guarantee Scheme
As an independent commercial finance broker, we can help you navigate the large number of GGS lenders and the varying criteria between them. We will compare offers and handle the application from start to finish.
One thing worth saying plainly: a scheme-backed facility is not automatically the best option. If your business can be funded on ordinary commercial terms, that is often quicker and cheaper. We will tell you which applies to you rather than pushing you towards a scheme application you do not need.
Fill in the form below and one of our brokers will be in touch. We charge no broker fees.
