Introduction To Dojo

So the Dojo mobile card machine is fairly new on the scene, starting in 2021.

However, it is actually owned and run by a larger UK merchant service provider call Paymentsense.

Dojo is purely just their mobile card reader offering, aimed at small businesses, sole traders and shops.

For more complex products, you would need to go to the parent brand Paymentsense.

One key difference is in how they charge, with SumUp its just a single percentage per transaction and pay upfront for the machine (starting at £39).

With Dojo you pay monthly for the card reader and also are subject to a 6 month contract plus minimum monthly transaction fee charges.
